CanadaMoe
Here's what I've done so far. comments about the placement of seatbelt would be appreciated. I don't think I get it looking right. Moe
thom
Hi Moe, Lovely start. I think you're right about the seatbelts - they should hang a little more vertically than you have them. Your instrument panel does look lovely though. Tom
CanadaMoe
Here's a little more work done on the project. I had to add a spreader to minimize the wing root gap.

CanadaMoe
Fresh from the paint booth just checking some seams From the wing tips, I'll be finishing the kit in Buzz Beurling's codes. Does anyone know if his codes were yellow or white. The kit gives the codes as white.
is it windy yet?
I've always been lead to believe that they are white. Ron
Matt
Which aircraft ? I have EP706/T.L with yellow squadron codes, and BR301/UF.S as white. Can't say either are correct, thats just how the decal sheets have them printed. Matt
CanadaMoe
I have the kit decals for EP706/ T * L, they are in white. I've seen the AeroMaster Malta Defenders with the same codes in yellow. Maybe I'll build the tamiya Vb in yellow code. (Have to get the decal sheet first.) Thanks for the comments. CanadaMoe
Thank you all for the kind words. HELP!!!! Does any one know if spitfire T * L (EP706) has internal or external armored windscreen? TIA Moe
CanadaMoe
Do some more work. Have to fill in the colours some more, but it's a start. Is MiddleStone that yellow??? I used Humbrol 225. Enjoy.
thom
That really does look very yellow. I use Tamiya's acrylic Desert Yellow, which is a bit more toned down. Great looking preshading, by they way.
olemanjoe
Wow, looks great, Morris! the nose was a beech to fit properly on mine! you did a great job with it. Yeah i think the colour should be less yellow, more brownish. Real nice job on the interior too BTW.
CanadaMoe
Finished. I had to repaint the middlestone. I like this tone more than the previous pic. I lost most (maybe all) my pre-shading, oh well... Aircraft Info: Spitfire Mk Vb RAF No. 249 Squadron, Malta 1942 Pilot: George "Buzz" Beurling Enjoy.
RookieLSP
That came out really great! It was certainly worth re-painting the Middle Stone. The other was very yellow. Nicely done!
