Cobrahistorian
It was 80 degrees on Friday in DC. This afternoon, in Johnstown, PA, it was FRIGGIN SNOWING. I hate this.
EDWMatt
We just broke 100F And it's only 14 April. Look out, may just be a long hot one Steve What I always loved about Yuma was leaving the hotel for the airfield at 0400 and it was ALREADY 101 DEGREES!
dahut
Uh gee, do ya think? It's Yuma, as in ARIZONA. Sonoran Desert and all that stuff. Just messin' with 'ya! :) I used to live in Phoenix and there was always one prediction that wasn't far off from being right - hot. And dont let anyone bull you about it being a "dry heat." It is that; but man, hot is hot.
Bulldog 09
You want to talk HOT try Bullhead City Arizona or Lake Havasu City in the summer, it's in the Mohave Desert. They actually have an egg frying contest in Bullhead where they cook it on the sidewalk. This is why I left, heck the devil himself would'nt go there. It's not uncommon to see a couple of 125 -130 degree days in the summer and no I am not kidding. Dave Fassett
Adam Baker
I remember Havasu in August. Definitely very hot. We had to scrape ice of our windows this morning here.
