TheModeller
OK, here is my Tamiya Mk.I built 5 or 6 years ago... Ultracast stacks, Eduard etched harness, Humbrol paint and the decals are from the spares box. Is it too late to join in the group build?

Hello... Now this in one interesting bird, the second one...may I ask where you got the infos on it from. Where there more like this in use. I somehow have a fable for patchwork stuff like silver B-17s with od tail, F9F Panther blue tail fly, etc... thanks a lot Uwe

Profa
Well, for my first post here on ARC (although I'm a member for quite some time) I picked Spit Mk.Vb in colours of 352nd RAF (Yugoslav) squadron, ES 257 "X" (Slovenec - Slovene). This was made for another GB, called "Partisan Squadron", on another forum... WIP (in serbian) can be seen here. Only problem I faced during the work were BR decals which were fat and slightly out of register. I set them using copious ammount of Model Master solvent and setting solution... There are still some minor corrections to be done (white around upper roundels, some excess wash on the upper rear fuselage around 'X', door-to-fuselage joint)... Now I'm off to join this GB with another yugoslav Spit, this time Mk.IX  Edited April 21, 2009 by Profa
