Hello all,

Being a slow builder, I don't post very often here, but here is my last made kit, the Hasegawa 1/32 P-40K.

Basically a very nice kit, the only additions here were etched metal harness and True Detail wheels, because, being a brick I managed to loose one of the sprue holding the wheels

Paints are Gunze acrylics, weathering with pigments and Mig oil stains wash. There are still a few bits missing like brake fluid lines and rear view mirror, but this will be added tonight. snake head still need a bit of touching too, as it is bit too clean in comparison wht the surrounding area.

Please, feel free to comment and criticize, that's the way toward improvement .... :monkeydance:

Hope you'll like it,

Best

LO-VE-LY !

I love ur painting and weathering, just like the real thing I guess.

Since this is the Critique Corner I would like to point out that the pipe #3 is a bit out of axis, is this normal ?

Hello gents,

First thanks to all for the kind words ...

@ Toniosky, nope that's no normal state for pipe #3 :) Little creeper must have moved while the glue was curing. Will try to fix it. Thanks for pointing it.

Best

Hello,

Thank you all, guys, glad you like the Curtiss ...

And yes, the snake head is the kit decals. It was set in place using Daco Extra strong setting solution, but it was quite troubless; The right fuselage roundel made more fuss and I had to scrap it and redo it using eduard masks.

Best regards
