john53
Back on track. Tamiya kit came in mail today, I will use the aftermarket decals I was going to use on the Revell kit Super Scale 48-1186.---John
john53
I've got some pictures of the interior so far. They are a bit dark but viewable. This kit is a 100% improvement over the ancient Revell kit.---John Edited October 1, 2011 by john53
john53
This is moving along fast thanks to the great fit of the Tamiya kit! I have the cockpit in the fuselage and ready to glue 2 fuselage halves together.---John
john53
Fuselage halves together, radiator shutter and engine hood and air scoop on. I need to do a little sanding on the top seam and some glue ooze on the hood but nothing major. I have a question, which exhausts would have been on the Tuskegee Airmen "Daisy Mae"? You can see them in the picture below on the instruction sheet near the model's wing root. Thanks---John Edited October 2, 2011 by john53

Dirkpitt289
Great work so far. Can you show a picture of your flaps (top) from the rear? I'm curious how you affixed them to the wing.
