ATP Decals

8 posts in this topic

In the 70's and 80's, I made model commercial airliners all the time. I purchased great decals from ATP. I recall they had the decal for the Air India B747, including the pagodas around each window. Now, I have resumed making models, but I believe that ATP has gone out-of-business. Is this true? Does anybody make model decals anymore? Thanks.

If you are talking about civil decals there are plenty of them around. Google 'Draw Decal' and 'Two Six Decals' for starters. There are plenty of others. Perhaps ask your question in the Airliners area of the Forum for a more comprehensive list.

AHS, at www.airline-hobby.com is the best place to get started.

I'd be VERY careful about buying from Airline Hobby Supply....They have been having problems honoring orders. I had to file a refund complaint with my CC company after 4 months of no product or communication. Even suppliers were not getting paid....Just FYI

I think AHS has cleared up it's fiscal woes and is operating with sterling service once again.

ATP shut down when the owner retired back in 2002. Clint Groves, the owner, passed away in the Summer of 2015. They had some very good and unique products.
