Su-24 colors

Is there an official source for the grey or blue shades of the Fencer?

I colorchecked Su 24MR 'white 10' at the 1992 Damgarten air show, and noted FS 26373 for the gray.

Brilliant, it may be close for association but since when are the Ruzzians using FS 595 for color coding?

I think he just means, as hems mentioned, that as FS are US colors, they could only be comparisons.

From all the Su-24 pictures I’ve seen, the grey seems to vary quite a bit, so I consider it nigh on impossible to find one exact shade of grey.

FS 26373 is the color included in Ammo Mig's "MiG & SU Colors Grey & Green Jets" set which also includes an Su-24 scheme ( although from the pics, I can't tell which of the 3 aircraft the FS 26373 is meant for):

I thought the same, hence my question.  Still, some photos look like light grey, some medium grey, and some sky blue; though the light blue could often look light grey depending on the sunlight.  I thought I saw Su-24 instructions on Scalemates calling for blue, but I've been unable to find them again as I don't remember which kit I was looking at....

It's my understanding that Russian paint shops get drums of white paint and black paint and they simply mix the two (I assume they have a recipe) until the paint looks right. I built the Trump SU-24 that way. I liked the result...
