Paul Boyer
Hoo boy, a copper-colored cheatline around the windshield/nose. That will be fun.😐

Dutch
Hmm, two different serials here. Both would be nice schemes.
eraucubsfan
Bumping this topic up. Saw that the 128th WI ANG is painting up one of their KC-135s with special artwork. Should be at Oshkosh this year
KursadA
Yes, there are some superb schemes appearing on heavy aircraft (B-52, KC-135R etc) lately. I have been contemplating a reprint of CD72030 and a couple of Microscale-printed limited edition supplements with these special schemes.
Spruemeister
Just Googling "special KC-135" will give one a huge number of recent schemes worthy of decal attention. Finding out which ones are being done will take a bit longer. Rick L.
USAFsparkchaser
And here is the 128 out of Milwaukee, hope this goes on a 1/144 sheet https://www.facebook.com/share/p/19d61S9Ke9/?mibextid=wwXIfr
Paul Boyer
Interesting that the 128th used "Milwaukee" instead of the past "Wisconsin" (university in Madison) lettering. Don't know if they will all be that way. In the last year, the 128th was not selected to receive the KC-46A Pegasus tankers. These KCs are approaching 70 years old now - of course they've been updated, but the basic airframe is still nearly as old as I am!
eraucubsfan
Well at least it doesn't say anything about the Brewers (Baseball team)

Old photo from Wiki shows KC-135R with UW style tail band and F-16C with Madison tail band and WI tail code.
