EF Posted January 25, 2005 Share Posted January 25, 2005 A russian built helicopter crashed some minutes ago, at Base Aerea Santa Lucia, north of Mexico City. It fell over the hangar. Still to confim if it was a Mi-2 or a Mi-8. Link to post Share on other sites

I feel bad for the familly of the crews :) did you know that the MARINA (Mexican navy) have never lost an Mi-8/17 in an accident? I said that to a guy who´s working here in the navy base of "Las Bajadas" and he told me that the air force has lost so many helos because of the crapy service they get from their contractor, here In Veracruz I often see guys from Rossoboronoexport I guess they guive mayor manteinance to the fleet of russian helos.
