f14peter Posted February 5, 2006 Share Posted February 5, 2006 Hard to tell by the angle of the photo so I can't be certain, but it does appear that it has a case of "droopy-rearend", as per the ESCI kit. Also indicative of an early and little used version of the Flogger as newer and more used MiG-23s sat more level. Nose seems a tad too pointy for a later version. Second, the photo definitely looks like the Esci kit, particularly the lame missiles and the prominent mudguards on the front landing gear are giveaways. I don't understand why people expected a new tool when Italeri had been reboxing Esci molds left and right for several years in a row now.
