BadCop
Here's a quick pic of my Hawk I'm building for this GB in prototype. Despite a few blunders along the way (not the least painting the wings white rather than light grey - YERGH!!!! - but I'll let that one go.) I've got it glossed up, ready for decalling. I'm just crossing my fingers that the kit decals will work as advertised. I'm going to do it in flight on the lovely M-base Stand (the memories that thing brings back!) RKic
Nice masking job Trent! what is your technique? I can never get my masks to follow compound curves and remain straight.
BadCop
All I used was some carefully applied Tamiya Tape. The lines were fairly straight, although now I look at it I maybe got it bit off on the fuselage where the intake trunks join the fuselage.
Justin Davenport
Love the paint job. I'd enjoy doing a gloss white/gloss red bird someday, when I get the techniques for doing those colors well down pat. (I'm on my way with the white part). Justin
Bennygmanuk
Looking great Trent, Another one that's on my 'to build' list. Steve.
BadCop
And now with some decals on - I was half expecting them to disintegrate upon contact with water, but fortunately that obviously isn't the case.
BadCop
Canopy unmasked, pitot attached and on the stand, but still lacking a bit of work inside the cockpit.
