You must have a very steady hand, the painting is so precise. Excellent work, a pleasure to see. I look forward to more updates.

Rafael Winter
Thank you guys for the much appreciated words... some more progress on the intake... pic1. pic2. pic3. pic4. They are Zactoman´s intakes... an amazing resin adition to the kit... I hope you like... :) cheers Rafael
mickey
Looking very nice. Those intakes are amazing - with very subtle detail. Where did you get the detail for the cutout extending aft of the nosewheel bay from? It appears different, and I suspect more accurate, than what I came up with. Cheers, Mickey
Rafael Winter
Thanks mickey ... the part aft the nosewheel bay isn´t accurate, just a "what if "... I will start to look for some pics for scratchbuilding that. :D one pic of the neverending story... pic1. Rafael
janman
Those intakes really rock! You've really succeeded in making a piece of resin look like it's from metal!
upupandaway
Hola! You seem to be using the first release of the Zacto-intakes? Am I wrong or did you really try with those? Anyway, it looks great. There´s very much detail that you put into the intakes and the wheelbays.

Rafael Winter
Hi mattes... thanks for the kind words... You seem to be using the first release of the Zacto-intakes? Am I wrong or did you really try with those? ... Yes, I did. I have the new one but how this is my " back to the modeling " since a long time, I used that old mold just to keep the new one to use when my skills grow up. The white mold is amazing too, just a little more hard to adjust it... Those intakes from Zactomodels are just outstanding. I´ve tried to take some pics but that thing with lights, cam, flash, shadows,... are :D just more pics... pic1. pic2. pic3. pic4. pioc5. pic6. I hope you like it thanks Rafael Edited September 7, 2008 by Rafael Winter
