Wildcat
The parts breakdown to allow different versions provides a "challenge" but Mr. Surfacer and I finally came out with an acceptable result. Once done this is really a sharp looking P-40. More here: Kittyhawk Mk Ia
Jamie Cheslo
Very nice Kittyhawk, indeed! I built this kit up myself, using Pyn-Up decals, same mediterranean camo scheme. They do build up nicely, once you have dealt with the fuselage join issues. Congrats on an excellent build! J.C.

Mike
If I was a judge on American Idol, I'd be sayin' something vacuous like, "You nailed it dude!", or "we got a hot one in the house tonight!" Seriously, that looks really well done, the weathering and panel lines are just right. I can't see any of the joins in the fuselage so it really can't be that bad! Did you spray the camo freehand or mask it? I have in mind to get one of these at some stage to do as a Kiwi one. Cheers from NZ Mike Edited May 11, 2006 by Mike
