My AirFix
Hi All, Here’s an update to all resin bits & pieces I’ve being working on…. The various subjects are primarily cater for the 1/72 F-16 Vipers… & are based on the HSG CJ/DJ kit where the Beer Cans, Bulges & Big Mouth are availiable. Slight variation may be present for RoG / ESCI / FUJ kits. Quality wise, they do have tiny pin-holes which I may have overlooked during flood pour thus hope it doesn’t bother you guys too much. Worst case scenario would probably require Putty & Sanding Stick…..! 1. D-Operators (Dorsal Spine) - 3 options ($12) Here are some samples which I’ve cleaned & applied wash to highlight the details… The other 3 pictures with dark background were taken some time back. * I initially started off wanting a common spine with various add-on accessories to depict the different operators but had problem with the GPS antenna hence decided to cast in the GPS. Option1 - IAF - Dorsal Spine w/ separate Parahousing (+ Air Scope Rear) - HUD Repeater - Pre Cooler - RWR Bulge (Aft Radom) - EW Fairing (Intake Bulge) - EW Rapport III Option2 - RSAF *w/ AIFF included - Dorsal Spine(GPS) w/ separate Parahousing (+ Air Scope Rear) - HUD Repeater - Air Vent Cover (StarPort) - AIFF Option3 - HAF / Oman / Chile / Polish *AIFF NOT included - Dorsal Spine(GPS) w/ separate Parahousing (ASPIS + Air Scope Rear) - Air Vent Cover (StarPort) - Air Scope (mid-way above Chaff/Flare – starport) - HUD Repeater - EW Fairing (Intake Bulge) - EW Rapport III - ASPIS (Port Side) Here's with the accessories added on.... 2. ADF tail base w/ AIFF ($3.99) 3. Fuel Tank (600 gallon)… *Working on new pylon still.... Iron Eagle
Gosh Daryl, I've been away for a few days... what have I missed! I just saw this thread now... Anyhow, get your PayPal ready. Is that $12 for one option or all options? There is just one set of parts per package, right? At first I thought the picture suggested that there are three spines etc. per $12 package. Just making sure. Keep up the (I don't even have words for this) work my friend. My AirFix
I was thinking on the 1/48 side How about trying out using a streched sprue or (3-4mm rod) & sand it to shape. It pretty fun thing to scatch build actually. Besides, the decal instruction sheet do have a clear shot of the ASPIS... Goodluck, Daryl
My AirFix
Do you sell and ship to Germany? Thanks for your interest Jan... I ship international. What do you need? Daryl
Iron Eagle
Hey Daryl, I see a little step between the bottom of the tail and the ADF tailbase. That's what you were talking about earlier... will it be there on the final cast?

My AirFix
Hey Daryl, I see a little step between the bottom of the tail and the ADF tailbase. That's what you were talking about earlier... will it be there on the final cast? Hi Yang, For illustration purposes, I've conveniently mate the HSG fin using the Bulge for RoG.... Infact, I've catered for both version... HSG & RoG. It really voice down to which one you prefer.... RoG has a more sleek profile as compared to HSG... hence explained the cross-sectional difference. RoG (A-Fin) is 1.8mm RoG (C-Fin) is app 2.0mm HSG (A-Fin) is 2.4mm I've both... let me know which you prefer.... HTH, Daryl Attached pics (RoG fin on ADF Bulge) Edited September 22, 2006 by My AirFix

Any chance of the towed decoy pylon for the F-16 in 1/72? Mark Hi Mark, Glad the Pod arrived ontime & intact... Hope they'll serve you well. Not too much a problem with the Towed Decoy... In the pipe line Mark. Probably after a short retreat as I'm trying to clear some of my load at work. Thanks for your support always, Daryl

Fiddler
wow, looks like i found what i was lookin for I found Dr.Pepper's thread with the 1/48th high spine and i was asking him if he would design it in 1/72nd also. Then in once I saw your signature with the 1/72nd sniper pod and that's how I found this. Still saving some money now since I bought the Amodel Il-76 but I made a list recently with all my to do vipers and seems there are like 5 high spines needed to accomplish al the 40 aircraft I want :D and some loads like the litening and sniper are needed to. You'll be hearing from me ;)
Gareth
Oh wow, the spines look really good. I think the beauty is how now we we do both 1/72 and 1/48 have it good spine-wise. An email will be inbound. ;)
