I may be speaking out of turn here, but I'm assuming Black Box just cast a certain number (500?) at a time and then moved on to another set. Some of those Black Box sets have been out for several years. Sometimes they do a another run, usually with some updates. Black Box has also changed over the years, and are now a part of Squadron.

Hmmm, what would be the point. Any negative word would just be chastised. Just be happy with "they looks like weapons to me".

That's the inside of the intake trunk. Granted it's not a easily seen part of the model, probably even impossible to see once it's all built, but still.

Holy ejector pins Batman! Gonna take a little work buffing those babies out.

Here you go. I don't have the ALQ-119, but it's very similar to the -184, except the bottom part dose not go as far back.

I hear ya. The missile rails are done, but I've had a hard time getting the center part right. I'm not that happy with this one either. The white piece is the adaptor for the F-111. I've been finishing up a lot of artwork and will get back to this and the left handed HTS pod shortly. Also working on this puppy as well. Shawn shull24.com

I'll post any progress here. As for 1/32, depends on how much Jake bugs me. :D

I was a little afraid to look :D

I may be wrong, but I don't think CJs ever mix anything else with HARMs, usually the wingman would carry the "something else" like mavs, clusters, dumb bombs. In the early days of OEF the Mountain Home F-16 block 52s used a mixed mav & WCMD load, and used the mav for visual rather than shooting. I've seen current pics of Hill jets flying with a mav & slant GBU-12s. Wouldn't be surprised to see mav & GBU-38s either. Shawn

I don't think F-16s used WCMDs during the Baltic operations. Aviano used the older CBU-87s in Deny Flight, Deliberate Force, Allied Force, etc. B-52s may have used them, but I don't think F-16s began using WCMDs until Iraqi Freedom & Enduring Freedom. And I think the WCMDs are more of a block 50 weapon, I don't think I've ever seen them on block 40s.

I'm working on a 1/48 one. Hope to get `er done before the 19th, - before the in-laws come out for a 2 week occupation visit.

F-16s from Shaw AFB spun up with them in 2000, but I don't think the Air Force ever used them operationaly. I think they went with WCMDs instead.

Looking at the Hot Babe pics of the Wisconsin 60th Anniv jet, there appears to be a short ALQ-119 on the centerline. Was that just slapped on for the airshow, or is the -119 still in use? Shawn

I owned a set of those, it was these guys: http://www.masterpiecemodels.com/ but I don't see them listed anymore.

That was the first place I looked, they were out of stock. A2Zee was the next place I looked and they were out of stock as well, but they have since received a restock. Shawn
