  1. I think this guy pulled it off. Look at the belly of the airplane starting at the intakes on the second photo. http://www.airliners.net/photo/Aero-L-29-Delfin/1887338/&sid=d7996abd81684582532c870d006b467c http://www.airliners.net/photo/Aero-L-29-Delfin/1886689/&sid=d7996abd81684582532c870d006b467c
  2. I have about six of so kits left in the stash I need to par down, and I am having buyer's remorse over the PBY-5 I bough a couple of weeks ago. I'd really rater have the 5A with the landing gear. Any of the Monogram/Revell/Pro Modeler boxings would do. Here is what I have to trade AMT 1/25 1936 Ford Coupe/Roadster 3 in 1 Tamiya 1/24 Renault Alpine A442 Tamiya 1/48 A-10 with True Details cockpit and a Terry Dean nose weight Renwal 1/32 Hawk Missile Battery (Factory Sealed) Oh, and the Monogram 1/48 PBY Catalina I just bought Let me know if any of these catches your attention. JR
  3. Just found that myself and was going to post it here. Kill the scratchbuilding plans, boys! JR
  4. Thanks for the input. I had come to the same conclusion about the whole "Blitz Buggy" moniker. Then again, I am sure that was just a case of "Tactical Deception" on the part of the narrator. JR
  5. That's the one! Thank you for the id. JR
  6. Okay, this project is driving me crazy! I found a really neat Navy video on the PBY Black Cats here: At the 5:30 - 5:42 time frame, it shows a really neat tug that the narrator refers to as a "Blitz Buggy". I have done every search I can think of on aircraft tugs/tractors on Google and come up empty on anything that looks remotely like what is in the video. Has anyone ever seen one of these outside this old video? I'd love to do one to go with the PBY when I get it finished. Thanks, JR
  7. I have the P-38 wheels by Ultracast and the A-20 by True Details. $12 shipped if you want them. email is jrobinsonusaf at aol dot com.
  8. Found them! Hiding under several other pieces of paperwork, nowhere near where I thought I had left them. Thanks, JR

  10. Looking for the markings for the EE Lightnings from Model Alliance decal sheet 48170, Option 3 or 8, or decal sheet 48188, either of the EE Lightnings. I can pay outright, or work a possible trade. I also have a bunch of trade bait. Thanks, JR

  12. Looking for an AMT 1/48 F7F-3N night fighter. I can provide a trade list upon request. Thanks, JR
  13. Go ahead and make the trip to Fayetteville and visit Hayes Hobby House. You will not be disappointed! http://www.hayeshobby.com/ JR
  14. I have an unused original sheet if you are interested. As an aside, it was one of several sheets Testors sent me because the decals were disintegrating, so they will need a top coat of some sort. Any chance you have a set of Caracal 1/48 OV-10 decals? JR
  15. How about bare metal chips all over a radome!? JR
  16. Please drop me a line at jrobinsonusaf at aol dot com. I am doing a Tico/Oriskany conversion to honor my uncle, who served on her during Korea. I have a TON of pics and a document detailing the changes to be made. The biggest slowdown for me is the island. If I could wrangle a Gallery Intrepid island and cast a copy of it, that would solve a of of issues. Here's a thumbnail of changes: Designated SCB-27A, the modernization was very extensive, requiring some two years for each carrier. To handle much heavier, faster aircraft, flight deck structure was massively reinforced. Stronger elev
  17. I picked up a Tamiya Dambuster kit, sans decals. I have managed to pick up a sheet of the regular Lancaster decals, but I need one complete set of fuselage codes/serial numbers and any other unique markings for AJ*G. Anybody got a partial set that will put me in business? Thanks JR
  18. Nobody is holding a gun to anyone's head to make them bid or buy. If it's too expensive, it will not sell. Otherwise, someone will buy it. My brother in law is an auctioneer. His answer to "What's it worth" is whatever someone will pay for it.

  20. I'd like to trade my Hobbycraft 1/48 CF-100 MkIV for a Hobbycraft 1/48 CF-100 MkV. Box, instructions and decals not needed. Any takers? JR
