  1. Sounds cool Brent. These suckers carried everything including the kitchen sink and a toilet! Best of luck on your build. Make sure to include lots of oil stains and exhaust residue. They were filthy. The Skyraider is one of my all time favorite aircraft. Don
  2. Brent, Top photo in this link shows a typical SAR loadout for the Sandy birds. I have the Tamiya 1/48 kit that I plan to load up with this ord. Hope it helps. Don http://skyraider.org...nder/bender.htm Another great website that shows ordinance carried by the Spad. http://a-1combatjournal.com/weapons.html
  3. Brent, It really would depend on what mission they were flying as to what kind of a load they had. SAR would have minigun(s), centerline tank, WP bomb, cluster bomb dispenser and maybe napalm. CAS could be napalm, cluster bombs, gp bombs, etc. Night interdiction on the trail would be about the same as CAS mission. Main thing to figure out is what mission did you want to depict. Hope this helps.. Don Richard Drury's book, "My Secret War" has quite a few pics showing various loads on some of the missions he flew. Trail busting in Laos early in his tour to SAR missions later on. Very ver
  4. Holy Cow. I just got my sheet in the mail today and this is one of the best sheets I've ordered in a long time. Two definite builds from it with a third maybe. Awesome job Jake. You guys did a great one! Don
  5. Damn! That is an amazing build. Best Foxbat I've ever seen. I salute you sir. :salute:/>
  6. Not sure my PM's are making it through. Any chance you can contact me? Don
  7. Got it and ordered. I was using your old url so it was coming back with errors. Awesome sheet. Thanks.
  8. That is a really fantastic build. The dayglo really pops on that one. Bravo!
  9. Duh, reading IS fundamental. :whistle:/> I thought you needed decals. My bad. Hopefully someone will have what you need. Cheers, Don
  10. I've done a search on the interweb and checked on ebay to see if anyone makes decals in 1/48 for Japanese F-86F's but am coming up negative. I thought maybe Platz would have done a set but no such luck. I did see that Hasegawa has boxed their 1/48 F-86F in a couple different boxings with JASDF markings but don't want to buy another kit just for decals. Plus I'm not interested in doing a Blue Impulse jet. I have an old Monogram F-86F that I'd like to do up in Japanese marking so if anyone is aware of some aftermarket in 1/48, I would love to know who and where. Thanks for looking. Don
  11. Mike, Do you need the Monogram decals or would a set from the Hasegawa F-4C/D work? Don
  12. Hi Jake, Do you still have any of the 48004 sheets left? Been looking for a Nebraska Air Guard bird for awhile. Also, what is the website for placing an order? Don
  13. Cool Scoob. Do you want my email address so you can send them to that? Don
  14. Hey all, still looking to see if anyone has the instructions for the KMC 48-4008 T-33 update set for the brass fret? A search of the ole interweb has turned up nothing. Don
  15. Great pics Murph! Thanks for posting. Saving these away for future use. Don
  16. Great start Tom. I feel your pain. I can barely walk into my hobby room let alone get to the work bench. Hoarding kits doesn't help either. Your post is providing inspiration. I think I'll hit mine tomorrow for about 30 minutes like what was recommended.
  17. Updated list. Will make package deals on multiple items.
  18. Jeff, Have this kit which is started. It's yours if you want it. Call it a thanks for the Bronco props. https://www.scalemates.com/products/img/1/4/0/123140-10346.jpg?nr=09125&company=hasegawa&name=f4u-4%20corsair Don
