So we have September now, there was an information that boxes with kit had to be sent to distributors at the end of August. When may I expect to get this kit finally? Please AMK, I want it. Really. 🙂

Decals for Grim Reapers I have got from DXM decals, but I don’t like that camo. I will take this Model Kasten set, it looks really good.

Thank you guys. I wish to have Microscale decals, but I think this is quite not available now.

I am looking for any decals for my F-14D GWH. I am thinking about Bounty Hunters camouflage, but kit's decals looks a little bit poor for me. Are there any aftermarket decals for this kit available? It is hard to find something for 72.

I have just received it and - surprise - all decals for missiles have got golden, instead brown, stripes. Very funny.

Anybody knows when this kit should be availabe? Haneto?

You are not using all available aftermarket: there is still set od Eduard's ejection seats 648471 SJU-17. 🙂 Ok, this set is for F-14D, but you can always use it for Hornet.

And so at the end you will all buy this kit...

This picture is a little misleading. Look at the top/right hip. It is not as pronounced as left one, which seems to be more rounded due to this big space between the hull and vhorizontal stabilizer.

The real pancake looks like this, we call it "naleśnik".

I really don't understand the problem. They said it will be the best F-14D possible, but they failed. Well, it happens, I can live with not so "the best F-14D possible" in my stash. Take it easy boys.

I don't know what do you mean by "need". Meng's F-35A is very nice kit and you can build good model out of box. But there is always something you can add or exchange to gain better look of the model. I have bought for this F-35A few aftermarkets: beautiful exhaust nozzle from KA-Models, ejection seat from Kasl Hobby, painting masks from Galaxy Models, PEs from Eduard, there are coming resin wheels from Res/Kit. You can use it.

Every kit needs it. 🙂

Today they wrote me both F-14D kit and weapon set will be dispatched to customer in one package.

This kit is not controversial, the controversial is the way how it was designed and manufactured. This kit can be good, bad or just average, that is all.I do believe this is really good kit, I don't care those rumours regarding hips or anythhing like this. This is Tomcat model and it looks like Tomcat, that is enough for me. I know Tamiya is now, and will be for very long time (considering forthcoming GWH kit) the best Tomcat kit in any scale, but probably AMK kit will hold second place. This is enought for me, I bought this kit and not going back, mayby even I am going to make

Hobby Easy has just informed me, they will get those Tomcats next month, so I think we will wait for it some more time.

I see very big potential aftermarket for not used pairs of wings of AMK. If you make Tomcat with wings closed, you can sell second pair. 🙂 It could be nice if those wings should fit to Tamiya's insert part.

I have just sent email to HobbyEasy about date of delivery and transport fee. Total cost of preorder kit plus shipping look almost the same like cost of Tamiya F-14D.
