This is the reason I've been a bit slow finishing my F-15 D, Tamiya 1/48 84-025,F-15 C Eagle,53rd Fighter Squadron "Tigers",52nd Fighter Wing,Spangdahlem AB Germany.Double Mig killer Desert Storm when she was a Bitburg jet.I understand she is a current Demo jet? I updated the kit with new AAMRAM LAU's from Wolfpack D,I also used the etch and nozzles from a Has kit,weapons from Has weapons sets.Hand painted as always with Aeromaster Acrylics,decals from Astra/Daco,panel wash by Pro-Modeller and weathering by Tamiya sets. Not 100% accurate but it looks like an Eagle to me. Comments

Starting to come together now,the CFT'S went on ok,considering they are from the Academy E kit,will be painting the Dark Ghost Gray tonight and the decals have arrived from Daco,thanks for the fast despatch Danny. Here's how things stand, Jon

Here's my entry into the F-4 Phantom Anniv GB, Hasegawa 1/48 F-4 J (UK) build OOB apart from some FOD Covers made from card.As always hand painted with Xtracrylix,decals from the OOP Yellow Hammer sheet.Weathering and panel wash by Pro Modeller and Tamiya Weathering sets,I think I used just about every colour for the weathering.I never saw a clean RAF F-4!! Built OOB apart from FOD covers made from card.Painf as always is hand painted Xtracrylix.Decals from the OOP Yellow Hammer sheet.Wash by Pro Modeller,weathering a mixture of colours from Tamiya Weathering sets and dry brushing,took me ages but I like it,never seen a clean RAF F-4 See I do make RAF Jets just not very often,just couldn't resist these markings,took advantage of the GB to get it done!Some great builds already in this GB. Ive had the F-16 A and the D on back order at Sprue Bros since Feb,Ive been filling in time with other builds. Can't wait to get my hands on em,esp the weapons that come with them. Jon

Hey Mungo, Thought you might like this one!Hope your OK mate? Well seeing as it looks like its gonna be a landslide to the 57 FIS,i've built up the CFT's and ordered a set of Kef decals direct from Danny at Daco. Still a couple of days left for a turnaround. Jon

They are fantastic pictures Don,I'll use them to get the LAU's in the right position on the CFT's and for weathering,by the looks of it they were quite clean Eagles? Thanks again.Maybe one of the decal producers will use them for an "old school F-15 sheet?" Right click save!! :) Jon
