  1. Hi Rob, Besides the Tu-134 and IL-62 offerings in 144th scale from F-dcal of France, there is also a sheet by Lima Oscar Decals for a LOT Mi-8 in 72nd scale: http://www.martola.com.pl/en1563/produkty37940/mi_8_lot_rzadowy Then there would also be this GioDecals sheet for the 1/144 B767: http://modelarstwoalexander.auctivacommerce.com/Silk-screen-decal-for-LOT-B767-Aerosvit-B767-P2854400.aspx Now, given the dimensions of the real aircraft you could perhaps work out which would be best suited!? Or bite the bullet and get a Microscale decal sheet and print your own decals... :) Good luck!
  2. Thanks, Laurent for the heads up! My whining wasn't related to RV actually - I would be pleasantly surprised if they'd ever offer a dedicated LanceR boxing - but to previous efforts by Parcmodels and KP who just included some [oversized, IMHO for KP] Romanian markings in one of their boxings and called it a day. Let's wait and see :)
  3. I too would love to see one, with all the additional bits and pieces (antennae, RWR, chaff/ flare). MF plus decals alone aren't enough, I'm afraid!
  4. Mind you, from 10.000km away and in line with the other profile I thought it could pass as a good enough example. It's settled then: I'll go with the Argentine Orion! ;)
  5. :) Excellent! Just a thought about that particular plane (LV-JTD) or that particular timeframe (?!): the Aerolineas Argentina titles were slightly smaller, given the fact that lenghtwise they only extended [as seen on the left side of the plane, from the front to the rear] just a little bit beyond the emergency exit over the wings. http://www.malvinasmdp.org.ar/Images/Fotos/M029.jpg In every other picture I've seen, the livery on Argentina's 732 coresponds to your very, very nice profile...
  6. Hi everyone, Just wanted to let you know that I just solved the problem of the livery for my 732: http://www.malvinasmdp.org.ar/Images/Fotos/M085.jpg Aerolineas Argentinas LV-JTD carrying personnel and a bit of cargo into Stanley Airport/ BAM Malvinas, April 1982. The stripes and tail logo can be painted on, I'm sure. Rest of the titles, I shall see if I can come up myself with on the printer... :)
  7. These two were on my mind: http://img.wp.scn.ru/camms/ar/831/pics/94_1.jpg :) http://img.wp.scn.ru/camms/ar/831/pics/91_2.jpg But I can see why you like this one! 153443 443 NP-3D Orion USNTPS by Sonic Images, on Flickr
  8. Vladislav, The Orion is one of my favourite aircraft and with you putting that massive amount of work into your model I can only wholeheartedly congratulate you! Excellent craftsmanship! Cheers! P.S.: I would have though chosen another marking option for this beauty :P
  9. If I can have one arrive at my post office for 100USD, now THAT would be something!!! P.S.: hope I'm not out of place here, but I never thought that the -200 enjoyed so much attention. My impression was that the -300 and -400 were THE Boeing 737s and one of those versions I would have hoped for to appear in kit form. But then again, I'm an early 80's child :D
  10. Well, just as my determination to resist Hasegawa on this subject was reaching record hights... what do I see!?: The German option on the decal sheet is for 30+30, a participant in Red Flag Alaska whatever episode this year, sporting crudely applied mission markings, including some F-22 silhouettes a.k.a. kills: http://cencio4.files.wordpress.com/2012/07/df_3030_neuburg_18-07-12.jpg http://www.1999.co.jp/itbig19/10198891n3.jpg Not exactly fair play, Hasegawa, now is it? :)
  11. I did build the Revell E-3 ages ago, but cannot clearly remember this particular aspect. However, should we go by these gentlemen: http://www.airliners.net/aviation-forums/aviation_hobby/read.main/42147/ Kit's content: http://www.luckymodel.com/scale.aspx?item_no=RE%2004364 ...
  12. In Air International was also a caption telling about the Turkmenistan VIP machine(s): http://forums.airshows.co.uk/viewtopic.php?f=9&t=43890&sid=f6ebeaf4b5a44b88d179a07cce2acb24 Cheers! Niki
  13. Well, how about that? http://www.findmodelkit.com/content/coming-soon-eastern-express-1 Sometimes all that it takes is a bit of patience!
  14. Oh, yes! I can see why you got them, John: the Tomcat is especially appealing to me too, but also that low flying Hornet. I must admit that this is the first time that I carefully look at those Fortresses flying over Rio. Wow! I got one more for you guys: This is perhaps the first box art that really caught my attention (and imagination)! Fifteen long years had passed by the time I finally found a box available and could come up with the cash to cover the expenses. Never mind at that point I was more than aware about the kit's funny proportions and had already a couple of Zvezda boxes in th
  15. Sorry guys if this has been on the table before, but I just wanted to share with you the excitement as the postman brought this to my doorstep today: The thing is I'm not exactly into 48th scale nor am I a big fan of the F-35. Having though read an article in Air International a couple of issues back about the sea trials on the USS Wasp and knowing what the sprues were going to look like, I simply hit the "Buy now" button as I saw the box art (mirroring an actual image taken aboard the ship). Then I thought about what else I bought in the past going primarily by the packaging :) This is
  16. Hi there, The little resin kit is available on Mr. Pimenov's ebay account right now: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/1-144-Embraer-120-PAS-MODELS-/280992361399?pt=Model_Kit_US&hash=item416c732bb7 Or, for a more direct approach, you can go to the gentleman's website (www.pas-decals.ru), search through the catalog and start filling up your shopping cart :) An e-mail also usually does the trick: pas-decals@mail.ru Cheers! P.S.: I have no inbox review for the Embraer, but this is how some other kits from PAS/ RusAir look like: http://miniliner.ru/images_ml/upload/iblock/95c/RusAir-144RA01-Y
  17. That seems to have sorted itself out, although I'm not exactly proficient in Russian :-P http://miniliner.ru/pas-models/144/PM14411-embraer-120.html Just one livery in the box - Atlant Soyuz.
  18. Hi, Please check the second page of Haneto's MiG-29C in-progress thread: http://s362974870.onlinehome.us/forums/air/index.php?showtopic=188120&st=20 Maybe that will help you out. Cheers! Niki
  19. Yes, indeed... :-) On the other hand, if this was really the case, I cannot blame them: I would have myself chosen the '62.
  20. Me again! :-) Now, I know of the RusAir Be-200 kit but I was wondering - given the recent surge of civilian subjects in the range of both Amodel and Eastern Express - if any of you heard of a future release of an injection moulded plastic kit? Cheers! Niki
