  5. Hobbyboss kit, with some detailing.scribed some missing panel lines, guns and pitot from needles. Sprayed many coats of primer to reduce those awful lines Made some detail for canopy Yellow coat Painted with Alclad White Aluminium as a plane of 425th Tactical Fighter Training Squadron at Williams,Arizona. Decals came from Italeri's F-5B,tail badges from a RF-4,stensils and other from many decal sheets including a Begemot mig-21 sheet for red stensils!

  10. Welcome on board Xristo! Cant wait for photos!
  11. Scott, in reality many AUPs stayed with Aegean blue for a short time... Many went to Germany with this scheme, and most major upgrades are inside... Only the nose cone,IFF blades and relocation of DIAS cover from cone to under the gun fairing, are the main defferences... So after final upgrades, they went to paint shop...In this time they're most Aegean Blue! Cheers, George.
  12. https://www.google.gr/search?q=f-4e+aegean+blue&espv=210&es_sm=93&source=lnms&tbm=isch&sa=X&ei=ik1CU8yyG6jx0gXg0IHwAg&ved=0CAgQ_AUoAQ&biw=1094&bih=530 Scroll down for some pics http://www.modelclub.gr/forums/index.php?topic=15928.50 For underside silver-grey try a mix of airframe aluminium with some light grey.Varnish, washes and even a filter will tone down enough for a good scale effect. I think the best way to paint and weather the "Aegean Blue" is to lighten a little the basic color and spray all over. Then lighten more and overspray all "upper" surf
  13. Im trying to find some photos of those early F-5Es with the Aluminium paint and yellow stripes http://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/File:58th_TTW_aircraft_from_Luke_AFB_1979.jpg Found some from Koku-fan and Setail&Scale books... Thanks in advance, George
