  1. Thanks Pete, I agree ANG birds are the best looking compared to their active duty counterparts!
  2. Finally after years of browsing this website and admiring the fantastic builds, I have gotten off my tail and decided to post my very first-so be gentle!! I have long been a fan of the 113th TFW(Wing now). Back when the unit transitioned from the F-4D I recieved countless trips both on the flightline and down to the EOR watching these birds blast off and recover. With that being said, I even had the opportunity to meet the commander of the wing, Brig. Gen. Russell C. Davis one summer afternoon after a flight(what a stellar guy too) and with that I had to build his jet!! To start off, the kit i
  3. Very nice assortment Jake-nice catch with the rotation and the E-4B in the background!
  4. Found a video searching under 113th Wing dated back in early Nov., has a couple quick views of this jet...anyone know how to post/link.
  5. Anyone got pics of the current scheme on the 113th station wagon serial 85-1509? It appears to be a all blue tail with minuteman in white Looks very very good!! Going to have to take a drive down 95 and go see it in person!

  7. Looking for partials/decals of the above sheets-just interested in building one of each-Grim Reapers A-model jet in TPS and 111th FW jet. Happy Modelling!
  8. Keep the pics coming SIG, I just cant believe they are shutting the base down-I too had many a good time/memories at the Grove driving from Trenton-was one of the first bases to plant that seed for a life long love of military aviation!!!!
  9. This shot is absolutely gorgeous OriginalMonty...wow that is truly sexy jet Love the vortices coming off the wings-I can literally hear her taking off
  10. I am looking for a 1/48 Sword T-38C. If anyone has one they are willing to part with let me know. I can buy and have some modern jet kits/decals that maybe I can trade for. Regards, Ted
  11. Saw a bunch of Hogs and Hercs working the pattern at Martin State, followed by two Vance AFB T-38C's on the line stopping in for gas-good to see some visitors!!! Camera was home unfortunately.
  12. Nice assortment you captured there, particularly like the Shaw fiddy with the cloud backdrop-excellent photos!!! Interestingly, is it routine for the Saudi strikes to use Sniper and Lantirn at the same time-I thought the Sniper was replacement/improved system?
  13. Brilliant shots Jonesy Thanks for posting-particularly like the one with the sniper and mixed Maverick/LGB practice load!!! Caught a transient 23rd hog on the line here with MDANG A-10s at Warfield about 2 weeks ago. Is it me, or is the 23rd the most moved around unit, they never seem to settle at one base for a long time: England to Pope, and now to Moody-guess the go where the Army needs them!! Thanks for posting.
  14. Randy- Absolutely gorgeous shots you captured there... :) Glad you enjoyed your first east coast show, I am still trying to arrange my first west coast show and you've given me motivation....one thing for sure is I am an air force brat certainly but the SUPER simply shamed the Raptor demo IMO, totally hot and eye-watering display(vertical loop with dump comes to mind) by the SUPER at JSOH!!! It looks at if you were not far from me in your photos :) Thanks again for sharing!!!
  15. Not sure this has been posted, but spruesbrothers has a nice amount of these kits @ $49.99 a pop, C models. This is the lowest I have seen Charlies by Hasegawa!!!!

  17. Outstanding job there friend...just as others have already alluded to, and anything with SJ tailcodes is just money!!! I need a SJ tailed Mudhen in my life, too bad no 1/48 decals out there Very eye-watering Mudhen!
  18. Very very crisp....makes me certainly want to bump my R/M Cat up to the top of the to build list-I look forward to building mine with the nice SB goodies I have. Question, did you utilize the replacement nose cone here?
  19. Nice additions Sig, particularly the Shaw block 42s and the single Hill block 50. Speaking of which how long did the 363rd fly the block 42s? I find it interesting that most pictures floating around show Shaw block 25s and then the big 50s show up, so I am wondering how long the 363rd flew block 42s-I'm sure it would have to be sometime right after the end of DS 1 because they flew the 42s during that campaign(scoring the first air-to-air kill for the mighty Viper). On a similar note, why the switch to block 50s for the 363rd/20th, and on the opposite side of the coin, the 388th went block 50
  20. Sig- My-my-my...those 'Hells Angels' shots are the beezness...especially the second shot with the RIO arm hanging out and chute dragging(sooooo many memories of those big VMFA-321 phantoms in that pose alone from childhood)...those were the years They would taxi by my uncles buidling and when we could get their attention they would wave...Andrews was a hive of activity in those years-two phantom based units, not to mention the mind blowing array of visiting planes/units that would stop by-the best summers!!!Thanks for the great pics!!!!
  21. SIG & Son-love the VMFA-321 pics....thats just what I've been patiently waiting...the good ol days back at Andrews...more Andrews action please
  22. Just looking for the PAANG Slufs off this sheet...if you have partials left, name your price....only want to do these jets-trying to avoid buying the entire sheet. Thanks in advance.
  23. Thanks Murph, I sure hate the thought of it on the horzion...I know theres no more vicariousness than from yourself having strapped into one...I'm hoping the Ironmen will still be present at Langley's open house this year. Fighter Eagles Forever!!!
