  1. Hi Martin, How about upscaling the Super Etendard to 1/32? The French stuff is crying out to be done in that scale. Jeff
  2. The news of a new MiG-25 is fantastic. Man did Kitty Hawk dry bone that one.
  3. Hello, Does anyone have the KMC set (48-4027)for the 1/48 A-4 that you are looking to sell? If you do, please contact me and maybe we can work something out. Thanks, Jeff jdosch1@cox.net
  4. The C&H conversion is not correct. I noticed the error after it was too late and contacted them to see if they had corrected the problem with a later release. They responded that they would be happy to send me some pictures and documents and I could correct it myself. No joke. I later got a copy of the Maintrack conversion and it is equally screwed up. Same exact issues as C&H. Too bad, the 2 seater is an interesting subject.
  5. How about the MiG-25? It's not like it was done well.
  6. Hello, Does anyone have an extra set or some decent used ones from a model they are scrapping? The aftermarket set are for a different mark Seafire so that won't work. I'll be happy to pay shipping or make a trade. jdosch1@cox.net TIA Jeff
  7. Hello, I'm building a grey and green Chinook HC.1 in 1/48 scale. I'd like to add a minigun to the side door and a M-60 to the ramp, but I'm concerned that these guns weren't used until after the HC.1's were converted to HC.2's. Does anyone here know if these guns would be correct for an 80's era Chinook? Thanks, Jeff
  8. Mike, Are you doing something for the Monogram SU-25? I ask because I just started one and the kit really needs a few improvements like new wheel wells and intake trunking....among other things. I will hold off if you are making some parts for it. Pete
  9. What era/scheme are you planning? Feel free to PM me for any assistance; this one is my favorite subject and I have a good bit of reference material and am happy to share. Do you happen to have some 4 view drawings of the Red Flag scheme? I'm in the process of building one and I have some questions about the pattern...particularly the bottom view. TIA. Jeff
  10. Jeff, I own it but have not begun to build it yet. It looks to me like typical Collect Aire which is to say some parts are very nice and some are, well, not. The panel lines are nice as is the canopy, but I can't comment on the fit. As for it being buildable, the first (and only) resin kit I have built was the Collect Aire SU-15 and, while it was difficult, I loved every minute of it. For the MiG 31, I'd recommend getting as many references as possible and perfecting your super glue skills in advance. One of the nice things about Collect Aire is that when you come across parts that are j
