Finn
Here's a look at what you get: http://www.1999.co.jp/eng/10053492 click on the last pic to see the parts breakdown and see that they have included several extra weapons that aren't used with but can be used for other projects. Scooter Man
Hmmmm...that's very interesting, I didn't even know DML ever made a kit of the A-10 in 1/144 scale.
Josh1971
Hmmmm...that's very interesting, I didn't even know DML ever made a kit of the A-10 in 1/144 scale. You're kidding, right? DML made a few A-10s in 1/144. I know I have a "Kuwait Highway Patrol", "Flying Tigers", and "Desert Hog" from them, and I DEFINITELY plan to get this 2-plane set. DutyCat
Yeah, they are nice. One kit has that tan brown camo with the warhog tusks. I robbed the AIM-9s and rails to hang on my little 1/144 P-3.
Scooter Man
Are their build up articles on the DML 1/144 A-10 kits anywhere? I'm curious to see how they stack up against the superb detail of the newer Revell of Germany 1/144 kits.
Aggressor Supporter
I'm impressed with these little A-10s. The molds looks very detailed and excellent weapon selection.
Josh1971
I think "excellent" weapon selection is an understatement! I may order 2 sets just to have all the extra armament around! JB
Bulldog 09
Speaking of extra armament, check out the new Dragon F/A-18F kit. It has a TON of extras. 2 AIM-9X, 2 AIM-9L, 2 AIM-7, 2 AIM-120, 2 AGM-84E, 4 GBU-12, 2 GBU-10, and 2 AGM-88. Like I said a TON. Dave
Mike Stephens
Except for the fact that the 118 FS is not part of the 23 FG, it'll be nice to have the 118th 80th Anniversary decals in that size as well! Do you know if there is a US source for this kit? Thanks for the link Finn! :) Mike
habu2
Do you know if there is a US source for this kit? squadron.com usually carries Dragon 1:144 kits. I just checked their site though and they don't have this particular kit in stock.
Josh1971
Sprue bros. has them as well.
Mike Stephens
Ordered a pair from Sprue Bros., and got them yesterday - quick shipping, and they look great!!!
