Lieuwe
it is a Vinten camera pod Thanks Paolo! Another couple of questions about CF-104's; 1. Does anyone know the font used on the NMF ones for the serial? 2. Does anyone have a closeup of the red "CANADIAN ARMED FORCES" text on the intake of NMF examples? 3. Does anyone have closeups of the circular practice bomb dispenser often seen mounted under the centerline on many pictures? I bought a Belgian F-104 decal sheet today and a 1:48 Hasegawa F-104G, hope to have a actual model to show you guys soon!
Paolo Maglio
Thanks Paolo! Another couple of questions about CF-104's;3. Does anyone have closeups of the circular practice bomb dispenser often seen mounted under the centerline on many pictures? just Google for SUU-21 The SUU-21/A was a practice bomb dispenser for six 11.3 kg (25 lb) bombs (including types MK 76, BDU-23/B and BDU-33( )/:(. Data for SUU-21/A: Length: 4 m (13 ft) Diameter: 43.2 cm (17 in)
Finn
For the CF-104, the dispenser was the MN-1A which was basically the same as the SUU-21. Jari

Lieuwe
I am currently working on this machine I am working on completing the maintenance markings for the german paintscheme and getting the weapons drawn. One item I am looking for good pictures of is the MK-25 Practice bomb dispenser that the Luftwaffe used. Does anyone have good close ups of this pod in high resolution? This must have gone through a repaint at some point. CF-104's never carried flags with Connected Oceans (the lines connecting the rectangles of the flag).
