Berkut
Are you sure, looks like a MiG-17 to me, re the landing gear doors and all that;Julien Yeah, sorry about that. To quick glance and it looked like thin nose and exhaust. On another note, what markings are these? http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v110/jul...0MiGs/B0046.jpg
Pete
On another note, what markings are these? http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v110/jul...0MiGs/B0046.jpg I would guess it's an Albanian one. Edit: It is an Albanian one, actually it's a Shengyang J-5, the Chinese version of the MiG-17. Here's a pic of it in storage in 2006: http://www.airliners.net/photo/Albania---A...-F-5/1134330/L/ Edited January 16, 2010 by Pete
Julien (UK)
Yes my money is on albania. Pre 1960 they used the Black/red roundel then went to the red star in a black circle. Not much definituion there in the PB resized pic, you can just see it if you blow the original up. Julien

richter111
One thing I have noticed about Russian jets. Like Nazi aircraft before them, pretty much any camo scheme you can think of, it probably exists in some shape form or fashion.
