Lock n' Load
Nice rescribing! Are you going to give it a nose job?
Tomcat Fan
Yes, I did a nose job, acc to drawing it should be okey... but will see.
twhite80
Look man I have to be honest. When people scribe that kit as well as you did it is an achievement that I can't imagine topping. It is awesome

Tomcat Fan
It is my 13th job of rescribing Tomcat, so I have some practise. first 2 where busted.. buth the 3rd one was good, also rescribed 2 revell Thuds, 3xrevell TigerII ... it takes practise...
twhite80
I think that it is the hardest thing in all of modeling. Scribing takes so much time and precision. I think that the F-105 has to be the hardest thing I have ever seen to rescribe, so hats off to you. How do you do it? What tricks have you learned?

VFA-103guy
Very nice, and thanks for using the VF-Decals sheet! Victory 100 was one of my favorite jets in the squadron and I couldn't wait for us to get it on the sheet. One thing about the fuselage bands. They actually fall below the skunk stripe, so you may want to trim a little off the top. When Mike did the art work for them, he intentionally over sized them so they could be placed accordingly. Tomcat Fan
THX... Victory 103- Season Greetings - Santa Cat will be done also, but some other time... I had trimmed those bands, but now I don't know if I had trimmed them corectly..
TaiidanTomcat
This is great! How are you going to get the Horizontal slabs back on BTW? are you going to add any reinforcement?
Tomcat Fan
I always remove horisontal stabs from the kit and re attach them whith steel rod diam 1 mm, hole drilled in to stab and in to fuselage, then when everithing is complete, attach them maybe some super glue, and ofcourse alighn them in droped down position as on sitting on tarmac...
