Hoops
Nice! I'm going to go out on a limb and hope that a "late" or maybe even ICAP III cockpit will be coming in the future. Now nobody has to give their money to that "Super Bug" guy anymore... Hoops
pollie
Looking good! Now hoping it fits.....
Tomcat Trebor
Time to start building an EA-6B been waiting a long time for a cockpit insert. Also I notice that seats are available as well. Robert
tankkiller06
The 48th fit nicely so based on that,...it should fit great! The detail was awesome, well worth the price for that kit.
janman
Time to start building an EA-6B been waiting a long time for a cockpit insert. My exact thoughts. The original pit looks pretty miserable.
Daniel_GM
Hay Gents, We now have them on Pre-Orders. The set will cost you $34.15 retails for $37.95 1/72 AHM7266 EA-6B Prowler ICAP2 (early) Cockpit Set
petebuilt
I had hoped that Aires (or some other enterprising AM organization) would do some 1/72 EA-6B intakes too! Those would be popular items also. Pete Brown
Brian P: Fightertown Decals
Finally a decent (or in this case, outstanding) Prowler cockpit!! I'm sure someone will make a joke about a $35 cockpit for an $8 dollar kit... May have to pick one of these up. Now, if there were only 1/72 decals. (and no, that's not a hint) -brian
janman
I had hoped that Aires (or some other enterprising AM organization) would do some 1/72 EA-6B intakes too! Also true. Another completely neglected area on this kit.

Aussie_superbug
Sorry for reviving an old thread. Has anyone actually built the 1/72 kit with the Aries pit as yet? here's what I have started today. cheers Brendon
pollie
I have the Aires set and a Prowler, but in the stash. Like I said earlier, Aires cockpits are a bit notorious for being a tad oversized, so they'll need thinning to fit. They do look great though!

I was just throwing the question out to see if anyone has built it as yet? I definitely agree with you that they look great.

I tried to start one, but got tried of fiddling with it to get it to sit in the right place. May have to go back to it if I can find the kit and the cockpit
Glynn Jacobs
Hi Trojan Thunder, I have a Golden Dragon/Super Bug cockpit set (it came out before the AiRes set!) and I will give it a go. A little crude, compared to the AiRes set but, "It is what it is! Anyway, I THOUGHT about buying the AiRes set but having to invest in some XMM intakes and MicroScale decals, I may not. Appreciate the heads-up though, let see what Gremlins are inhabiting the G. D./S. B. set! Take Care, WARDOG Edited August 18, 2021 by Glynn Jacobs Corrections

Glynn, wish you all the best with your build
