Airfix 1/48 Seafire F.XVII

Recommended Posts

Cool! I've been wanting to try that kit. Are you going to build it with one or more wings bent?

Not this one . The master plan as to eventually build a diorama like the box art with a second one behind with bent wings. Research time coming to find a serial and code for second aircraft for the same squadron same time.

Looking great Martin.

To me, a bubbletop Griffon engine Spitfire is the epitome of beauty.

Looking forward to some Extra Dark Sea Grey.

Thanks for sharing your progress.

Hi,

Yeah, now and then there is a problem with a paint job...my Mk Va looks as if there are barnacles on the wingroots now. I'll try to polish that out.

Good luck with the Seafire.

Stefan.

Love those all grey Spitfires. The colors from the roundels really sets them off.

Good luck getting it all done in the time remaining.
