janman
Thank you very much for the pictures, Berkut! Especially the photos of the Badger will come in handy! Just what I needed! You got some more? Could you specify the exact location of the photo that's taken inside the Tu-16? That's gotta be the belly gun and the cockpit pressure bulkhead and the camera is pointing towards the back of the plane, am I right? The Blacjack shots are awesome too! Flankerman
Nice photos Berkut..... Like I said, I am surprised that a) you got in and the aircraft are still at Poltava. When we went last year, we could not get into the base (there was a c*ck-up on the organisation!) - and we understood that the aircraft were being moved from Poltava to the 'central' museum in Kiev. When we visited the Kiev museum, there were parts of a Tu-142, Tu-22M3, Tu-134 & Be-12 that had come from Poltava. Maybe the rest (Tu-160, Tu-16 etc) will be moving later ???? When was your visit ??? Thanks for the pictures. Ken

Backfire
Very nice photos, Berkut, but for some reason I get red x's for most of them... I wanted to visit the museum when I was in Poltava last summer, but it was closed to the public because the UkrAF had stationed some operational Su-27 Flankers there while the runway at their home base at Mirgorod was being resurfaced. I did get to see the Flankers fly over on their final approach to the base when they were training, however. Hopefully next visit... Anyway, thanks for sharing the photos.
