P-47M Thunderbolt 1/48...Built!!!

Recommended Posts

Hi all

I'm proud to present the masterpiece : P-47M Thunderbolt 1/48 – TAMIYA. This is already in good quality but lack of some details. So I try to full fill it with my own imagination. I am a professional model-maker for many years. I know what I can do best. Yes! I make a photoetch by myself! It's not easy but I can do it, starting with the sketch and producing it until it reaches my satisfaction. (You can see from the models of my own brand – Oishi). This is the masterpiece! I had made my own kit such as putting more details in cockpit, seat, wheel bay, etc. My concept is “to make the beauty inside out†All my models always look like the real on!

If you interest make your own photoetch you can see in

Great details, far more patient of a man than me.

One question though for you and those of you who do the same. And this questions is no to detract from your work and not a criticism in any form or fashion.

Why due people run wires behind the cockpit control panel like you did on yours below? They can't be seen, just seems like wasted time. Again, not bashing the work, just asking why.

On the tamiya kit you can see them. Judging from my hasegawa p-47s, you can't.

From my point of view, Tamiya base kit is outstanding in detail and crispy even if build it OOB. After I see your Thunderbolt...WoW!!! ;) there are plenty of room to improve the base kit. Very Nice cockpit and custom made PE. Looking forward to see finished plane.

Fantastic job!!! :P

Wow! Any tips on how you made those Cromium Stickers on the landing gear?

Ok...I come back to show you how...

Step 1 you have got it...

Cho2.jpg

Step 2 Cut the cromium stickert in correct size of shockup or hydroric

Cho1.jpg

Step 3-4-5 you must add glue to edge area of sticker and roll to shockup

clearly ? I hope my technique will help you

Happy modeling
