I had fun building this old Airfix kit (made or molded in 1974). It looks quite high tech compared to other airfix kits I built before and comes with a colorful decal sheet. If you want to build this kit, please spend some more time fine tune the red paint you will need to spray the spine. I am not totally satisfied with my choice of red (Tamiya XF-7), it doesn't 100% match the red decal.

Thanks folks. I will get a bottle of ammonia and give it try. If not, I can always use lacquer even not my favorite.

I use both Tamiya and Testors Model Master acryl paints for airbrushing. Typically I thin them with Tamiya thinner and a drop of retarder, and both kinds of paint flow quite well. However when it comes to clean up, they behave very different. Tamiya is extremely easy to deal with, a spray of windex in the cup is enough flush out all the paint. For Testors acryl, it is a headache, windex spray or soaking will NOT lift the paint off the cup, every time I will have to scrub the cup or use lacquer paint thinner. So my question is how you clean Testors acryl paint? Is there any kind of regular h
