    Duh.... modelling!
  1. Well done. You nailed it! Out.
  2. Some really nice stuff there. You are certainly a talent. Out.
  3. Picked up a few Airfix and Matchbox from this guy today - lots of good stuff. Nice ARCer meet-up. I highly recommend the guy. Out.
  4. Cool! looks really good. I'll have to get a few. And I'm in the same city! double cool. Out.
  5. [ducking for cover]It sure is a damn sight better looking than the Raptor, that's for sure. [/ducking for cover] Out.
  6. Excellent work Mofo! Hopefully, a reasonable discussion will be possble. Out.
  7. What! Australia has no future? Darrn, I had my trip to Cairns booked and everthing! Out.
  8. Excellent job - you nailed the essence of the aircraft. I've seen this model done two different ways - too clean, and too weathered. Although this bird was making the show circuit as the 25th, XT597 had been in use in the non-25th scheme for quite some time and while the techs did their best to keep in show-shape she was showing wear. Its tough to get it just right on a paint sheme like this and you hit it right on. Congrats. Out.
  9. Impressive work Terry. I'm sure glad those decals went to good use. Looking forward to the final pics. Out.
  10. I'm glad the package arrived safe and sound. Its looking really good so far. Out.
  11. Canadian Sea Fury walkaround pics. More >>>>here<<<< Out.
  12. From ...And Kill Migs by Lou Drendel. This is from an interview with Cunningham. That being said, I've read that Cunningham was mistaken, and that he was only packin' 4 Rockeyes - 2 on each TER, not 3 on each as they are when "full". Apparently, there wasn't enough safety clearance from the carrier deck during a fully laden launch for the 5th and 6th Rockeye - it just wasn't done. I suspect Cunningham, as a matter of course, described 2 Rockeyes on TER as "full". So, I would argue that Mark Waki's illustration has 2 too many Rockeyes. Out.
  13. Ummm... that's just way too much information. Out.
  14. That looks fantastic. The weathering is spot on and, the tonal variation in the exhaust staining is great! WOW. I really enjoy pics of well done, less popular props. Out.
