Hi Rex, Scalemates is like Wikipedia, everybody can contribute including complementing or correcting the timelines. Here are the easy steps to do it: When looking at the specific kit (in this case: Phantom 1:72 - Eastern Express The timeline shows on the right hand side a link "edit timeline" You can 1) Mark if it is a rebox or the release year. In this case, if you can be more specific than 200x. feel free to change it to the real year. Linking kits or removing links is also easy. Hi Rodney, Cataloging a stash is indeed one of the key features. (although I know some people who use scalemates solely for the search engine and the kit database) However I wanted to add a bit more arround it. I also allows you to manage your projects (on the bench, ideas) and group multiple products (eg. Revell Kit + Aires cockpit set + TwoBobs Decals + ...). Via the search engine you find the kits via title/productnumber/topic/scale The good thing is, everybody can contribute. Hi, We just created this Walkaround Search Engine We all use walkarounds to super detail our models. Great websites include ARC and Primeportal with hundreds of them. But there are many smaller websites as well. Personal websites, club pages,... including a lot of interesting stuff as well. These are difficult to find in Google. The scale modeler search engine of Scalemates.com now includes "Walkarounds" as well. 4500+ walkaround links of 20+ websites, nicely categorised by topic, with thumbnail preview. Thx, glad you like it Well this feature is actually already present. An aftermarket set can be linked to specific kit (eg. kit number X, kits from a family (eg. all Tamiya Vipers based on same mouldings) or marked as a generic set) When looking at a kit we will show all generic sets, all sets for the same family + all generic ones. The problem is that many aftermarket sets are currently assigned as "generic". I know a few contgributors are attacking this and it gets better by the day. :) cheers Tim

Hi Breadneck, "They have it pretty much narrowed down, still i have seen them missing this and that" I agree with you, we have a lot but there are still gaps. The good thing, and also the strenght of scalemates, is that the modeling community can contribute and add missing kits to the database. Or when they know a link to a review everybody can add it. The contributors are very active, alone last week over 3000 edits were done to the kit database. With every new kit added we get closer to the ultimate kit reference database.
