I love that second scheme. I've got a C in the stash and I need to pick up another one to go with my Super Bug G-4 conversion set. These things are so darn big though, have to figure where how to display them.

I just ran across the 1/32 Montex NZ markings the other day, I defnitely see a big Dauntless in the future.

Just finished this one up for a 190 GB done at another site. Pretty much OOB, only after market items were Master Model turned brass gun barrels and Verlinden PE seatbelts. This was my first ever complete rivet job, really doesn't show in the photos, but that's good because I was looking for a subtle effect, they look just about perfect indoors without the sunlight washing them out as it is in the photos. Most of the markings were painted on using Montex masks, another first for me. Good results but I ignored some good advice and wound up doing a lot of touch up. Next go-around should be

Paul, Did the missing compressor thing get resolved?

I left that meeting about $430 poorer, a Tritium airbrush, a new silent compressor and all the goodies to go with it. Really is an excellent airbrush, you can do some amazing stuff. Since I do a lot of mottles (big shock I know) I did purchase a .2 mm needle which allows you some serious control.
