  1. DARPA (motto: “If It Kills People, We’ll Fund It, No Matter How Weird It Isâ€) has really topped itself this time... >>Source<<
  2. OK kit builders, here's a photo of the first production F-35A from this past friday in service markings.
  3. There is a report that a Su-22UM3K ditched off the coast near Ajdabiya; it's crew choosing to eject after they received orders to bomb civilians in Benghazi.
  4. 48-157 F-16C/D Wolfpack Bandits $12.00 Markings for two complete jets with an option of a third are included in this sheet. Two F-16C's and one F-16D are on this sheet. These Block 30 F-16s were painted in this aggressor scheme at Kunsan AB and flew there for about 6 months while waiting to be transferred to the 18th FS at Eielson AFB. They were then incorporated into the 18th FS aggressor mission in January 2008. Sized for the Hasegawa kit. 48-170 F-16C/D Blue Fox Bandits $12.00 Markings for four Lizard, Flanker and Arctic scheme jets from the 18th AGRS at Eielson AFB. These markin
  5. The "Skin gun" is offering hope for quick recovery for burn victims. The prototype medical device literally sprays stem cells from the patient's healthy skin mixed with a carrier solution onto burn victims to re-grow skin. Old methods like skin grafts took weeks to heal; the skin gun needs about an hour. (Contains shots of a 2nd degree burn on a hand, so if things like that get to you then, you know....)
  6. Yeah; technically he's in Pittsburgh, so...
  7. Going to either Huff or Fox for reliable news is like going to Canada looking for penguins.
  8. A common mistake, that's actually a MiG-28.
  9. Facing down a dozen unmanned battle droids programmed to kill, there's no one I'd rather have at my side.
  10. You better call Kenny Loggins, Bejing. 'Cause you're in the danger zone.
  11. It's got a great and proven aerodynamic inspiration. Build it!
  12. "Time for a little transparency. I need to borrow your screens..."
  13. Northrop's F-20 was to have originally been designated "F-19", however Northrop lobbied the USAF to have the designation set to -20 for overseas marketing purposes. F-20 sounds more advanced than if it were just another teen fighter.
  14. They say the best weapon is the one you never have to fire. I respectfully disagree. I prefer, the weapon you only have to fire once.
  15. As an founding Avenger, I'm sworn to always be where the action is.
  16. I would have said so myself, but I was doing a piece for Vanity Fair.
  17. Eh, I've spotted one or two there before...
  18. Look, Bruce is a friend and he's doing some fantastic work; I've got a lot of respect for him. And Waynetech has done some military contracts in the past with communications equipment and lightweight personal body armor prototypes. It's not his fault the bean counters didn't think a soldier's life wasn't worth $500K (yet no one's bothered to ask how much a Hammeroid costs). Most of Wayne's revenue stream comes from property holdings in his hometown that his family has had since the early 1800s. Fox is the real genius over there; both business and technology. Wayne has little to do with R&D
  19. Waynetech. Not bad. At least they're distancing themselves from Hammer and Osborn.
