Don.. did you get your airbrush yet?
-
I got an email from Don this morning saying that he had been away on business since midweek last week.. maybe things will work out now. hth Jack

Chuck.. I emailed you earlier from your post on HS. After I got your reply, I forwarded your email address to airhead in a 'reply' to an email I got from them a few days ago. Maybe it'll help... won't hurt. Jack

I agree with everything you say except this comparison doesn't fit.. 1982 Toyotas aren't still on the car lots being sold as new cars. And I won't be getting rid of my Hasegawa kits either! Jack

A friend just ordered one today.. seems expensive.

I guess I'm lucky.. I ordered 2 as soon as I saw the notice and got them within a week. jack

Have you called them to see if you have a backorder for those kits?

I don't think many people would doubt that the Hasegawa Tomcat is a superior kit. And if you're going to pay $40, no matter about the tax, and you can afford the initial outlay, then buy the Hasegawa. But that's not convenient for everybody. I think the key to enjoying the Academy Tomcat is to not pay $40 for it. The 2 Bombcats I have came from Sprue Bros for $28.49 with no tax and no freight. I've got a few of the older kits from HL 50% off sales, and then some really cheap ones from ebay. My avg on Academy Tomcats is less than $18, including the new ones. (Cost averaging, mind you, but it's

I'll buy 4 as soon as they are in stock at Sprue. Maybe another 1 or 2 later. and maybe a little extra CA also to make sure the nose doesn't fall off!! Jack
