  1. Perhaps . . . but the thing is, I was browsing the selection before the sale officially started and pages were full of "sold out" items.
  2. We must have similar tastes because I found most of the stuff I was looking for was already "sold out".
  3. All the "good stuff" on my list says "Out of Stock" online.
  4. I'm enjoying some Thanksgiving vacation time by finishing a few projects on my workbench. This is my first ever airliner build. I'd heard so many good things about the Zvezda kit (and they were all true). It's a great kit with fantastic. I went with Draw Decals 44s-787-6 "Flight of Fancy" depicting what might-have-been with TWA. Enjoy! (btw, the cat came in for the "scale effect").
  5. Kit: Hasegawa F/A-18C Decals: Afterburner Paint: ModelMaster Light Ghost Gray, Dark Ghost Gray AM: Resin intakes, resin seat, Sidewinder and Sparrows from spares box
  6. Very inspirational. Excellent work. Love the yellow legs!
  7. My prayers for your family during this time of loss. It's amazing how quickly some people pass after the diagnosis. I never understand that.
  8. Too late for the T-bird? If not, I'll take it. Message sent.
  9. So close to getting this one done . . . then decal disaster strikes! No fault of the AB decals themselves, just plain ole User Error! I completely botched the VFA-86 decals during the weathering process. I know it's a longshot, but anybody help a brother out? Anyone have the Afterburner sheet to sell, or maybe you aren't planning on using the Hi-Viz decals. I can buy or trade you for them. Let me know. Otherwise the
  10. Nearing the finish line on this one and thought I would share a few pics. Hasegawa offering with Afterburner decals:
  11. email sent . . . but bounced back. Any other contact info available?
  12. I just got through experimenting with a basic "Black jet" and had good results using Tamiay Flat Black, Nato Black, German Gray and variations of each of those colors. See my recently completed J-20 HERE
  13. It's just a temporary thing, Gonz. It had 3 sprues and turned out to be just a three weekend job....
  14. That's because the Chinese have one-upped us and have the technology to not only make their planes stealthy, but their pilots are invisible, too. Either that or this is an advanced Chinese Drone. :-) This was an OOB build and Trumpeter did not include a pilot in the kit. No worries though. Thanks for the kind words about the build.
  15. Yes, I did. Forgot to mention that. Use Flory Models light wash.
  16. mask and use different shade of black (i.e, flat black, Nato Black, German Gray, etc.) All Tamiya colors by the way.
  17. Just a quick build to work on some painting skills to try to break up an all black paint scheme, and to test out a new method (for me anyway) of mounting and posing aircraft in flight.
  18. Nice job, Eric. Really looks the part! I love Aggressor Eagles!!!
