  1. 1/72 Academy kit with Fightertown decals.
  2. Okay, I couldn't figure out the FB GBs and nobody posted yet so I was wondering. I'll be No. 2.
  3. Looking for a single action 200G gravity feed airbrush with a fine tip and needle. PM me with what you have.
  4. We're doing this like the previous GBs were we have our own build thread going correct?
  5. I've been wanting to build this TOPGUN F-14A in Iranian markings for a while in 1/72. I guess I'll have to figure out if I'm going with the Hasegawa, Academy or the Italeri kit.
  6. Lee, I built the NJ and PA ANG planes from the sheet so I still have those minus the standard markings, stencils and the round ANG emblem for the tail of the 178 plane. Send me a PM with your mailing address and I'll send them!
  7. Yeah , but color match and scale effect are two different things. It could be lightened but it should still start from the correct mix to begin with. When I want a certain color I dont want to end up something that looks like blue, green or purple.
  8. I started getting into Bombshell Brew paints but Lewis pulled the plug cause things got too hectic for him. They were similar to Vallejo Air and he had a great military color range. I managed to get about 15 colors before he decided he was done.
  9. Yeah and it says right off the bat that they are organic water based acrylics and that's why I was asking about your reference to an activator. It does mention that their thinner when mixed with their primer activate their primer but I don't see anything about their paint.
  10. Oder isn't an issue since I like enamels and lacquers, plus my paint booth vents outside.
  11. But arent they water based acrylic paint? I havnt seen an activator but they do have a poly that is supposed to act as a flow enhancer and of course a thinner.
  12. Not to hijack this but Id like to find out how Mission Models, AK and Ammo paints compare to the Gunze and Tamiya. I have to get into something new since the MM is drying up and those three have a pretty good color range.
  13. Nice video, I think the marbling might be the way to go for me. I have some NATO black but need to try a new line of paint since the MM is getting much harder to find in certain colors. Was thinking of trying Mission Models. You can email pictures to scode68 at Gmail dot com if you cant PM them.
  14. I'm going to be tackling a He 111 with white wash top and black underside and was wondering which direction I should go on shading or even color selection. I've never painted a black aircraft modern or old other than a F-82 and F-5 but they just looks toyish with straight gloss black and a wash.
  15. 1960s 1/48 scale Monogram Me 109E for $166 + $29 shipping. It's in Japan and has all the original paperwork but I paid $12 shipped for a 1967 boxing just like it last year. https://www.ebay.com/itm/353237599393?ul_noapp=true
  16. http://www.arcairforum.com/Rev3/2301-2400/rev2391-ModelAlliance-MA72150/00.shtm Just wondering if someone has a partial or isn't planning on using the Atlantic City chopper.
  17. Yeah, between the 177th, 141st, McGuire, Coast Guard and others I have a lot of choices.
  18. Been building some fun Revell/Monogram kits for the most part to keep me going.
  19. http://www.arcforums.com/forums/air/index.php?/topic/314441-kits-for-salesome-oldies/&tab=comments#comment-3018917 He has the Chuck Yeager boxing.
  20. Thank you Dave, Dave went out of his way to help me find a replacement propeller for one I was missing in a kit. Great guy, so don't hesitate doing any business with him if the situation arises!
  21. If you cant find these I just saw that Victory Models has some by Fundekal. Doesn't say if they are blue or not but it might be worth an email since they have F102 and F106 decals. Fundecals site doesn't list these. https://www.victorymodels.com/collections/model-aircraft-decals?page=2
  22. Still looking for a 1/48 scale 3 blade propeller for a Mk.V Spitfire.
