Well I don't really care that this could beat every airplane in the known western arsenal, I think this is a case of east meets west, becuase it looks like the F-22 and the F-23 and the Su-27 got Shagadelic baby, yeah....... ES

I just picked this kit up two days ago, the cockpit is indeed garbage, enough so that if there is no aftermarket pit available I am going to build it up as a mothballed AMARC jet and "spraylat" the canopy, it's pretty bad. The instrument panels aren't even close, the side consoles are some sort of joke and the seats (two different types) are junk, it's the kind of detail that reminds me of the old Italeri kits I bought in the 80's. The panel lines are very deep by todays standards, but they are workable, I was a bit disappointed in the overall lack of detail in the gear, weapons, and speed br

I recently acquired a large collection of mostly 1/72 and 1/48 decals and these are the ones I will never use, each set is only $5.00 + shipping (actual shipping from 85710), all are sealed unless noted in the description, most of these are old microscale that are long OOP, but are in great shape. stored flat in individual sleaves when I got them. Piero, Looks good, love the pit. I am also building this as well in a What-If scheme, I haven't really picked a scheme or even a country either but I am leaning towards a USAF build, I figure it's possible, Martin built the Canberra under license so why not? I also decided the kit nose wasn't going to work either and grafted on an old nose I had from a spare Hasegawa F-14, I'm curious what did you use, my original nose was going to be frmo a centerling tank from an F-4 but it ended up looking like the illegitimate offspring of Pinochio and a vigilante. Great Work, keeps the pics coming.

I have that same figure hiding away someplace, it is fairly accurate for the gear worn during the late 80's and early 90's, typical of the gear the pilots wore when I was in VF-211 and VFA-147. The helmet I think is the older style with the built in visor, not sure the make but it is not the newer one being worn today. Flight suit colors are listed as "sage green" which is kind of a muted olive drab/grey color, I have seen many different colors though once the material is exposed to the elements for a long enough period of time. The G suit and survival gear is a slightly darker green color
