Yes, I have both, and wish they would have included both parts in all kits. A good build but double check alignment of parts along the way.

My current bench project is the F-15J J-MSIP by FineMolds. Test fitting and gluing in progress. I have found detail and fit excellent throughout. Three two minor areas are the top of the intakes with sink marks, filling sanding in progress with Mr Surfacer. On the forward fuselage, aft lower end are some seams requiring blending, with the left side needing slightly more blending. Future releases seem possible with locating divots on the side of the intakes for the fairing as seen in the final photo. Good information can be found here https://thaimilitaryandasianre

During my build of the FineMolds F-15, I noticed that some aircraft have the round louvred vent to the right side aft of the cockpit, and some don't. And now in at least one case there are photos of an aircraft with and without it in the time period of one year. Assuming it is tied to the Environmental System (air conditioning), anyone have any information on it installation? Thank you

Thank you Gene, a great job. Very useful for which I believe will be the go-to Eagle kit in 1/72. Mine arrived a few days ago and no disappointments here.

Sprues are starting production along a with the owner of FineMolds, Kunihiro Suzuki, presented in an interview, talking about the kit. CC into English does a not bad translation.

@GeneK First look, quite close. The Eagle ladder has eight rungs vs 7. The rear rail looks a bit taller to make it over the intake and a slight steeper angle of the cockpit frame. So relatively small adjustments for a 3D file?

Digging through my T-33 pics only came up with this one I took myself of a Canadair T33. You can see the short links going up inside the flap well to which they would attach to the flap actuation mechanism. Their were 4 links for each flap with the previous photo better serving to visualize the spacing, as the inboard two were slightly closer together. Silver primer that I remember for the colour. I have a PDF copy of an RCAF T33 Mk3 pilot AIRCRAFT OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS but no diagrams in there illustrate anything useful for the modeller. As well nothing with a diagram in a 1958 AIRFRAME TRAI

The Academy T-33 can still build to a nice looking model. No shortcuts for the flaps though. I trying to find a better photo of the flap well area but am coming up short. It is a simple structure of just ribs and stringers with a rod running the length of the well where the flap control attaching links are connected to. If memory serves, the motor(s) were inside the fuselage. Blank off the area exposed to the fuselage.

Nice build @boomer46, wise choice on the CRB markings. I agree with the others, the ladder is always a nice touch. I would have liked to see FineMolds do C release with the three 12 TFW CRB squadrons featured. Like we need to buy another short nose F-4!

When I see the smallest detail like the differences between instrument panel, it's difficult not to be impressed. The exhausts without turkey feathers still look to chunky so it may be necessary to replace with better aftermarket parts. 3D printing project??? If followed up with a D, I'm not sure I would buy any more Hasegawa Eagles. I have both versions pre-ordered and will work my build schedule around their arrival.

Another update from @Finemolds_T today on Twitter... [F-15J progress report] Some of the finished products exhibited at the hobby show were 3D printer output products. It is a place with no engraving. Here is the processing of the back of the fuselage in progress. The mold before electrical discharge machining and the electrical discharge master. And after EDM... The first image from the model show.
