  1. Hello Brad, I think you’ll find some interesting information here: https://www.britmodeller.com/forums/index.php?/topic/235024823-148-mcdd-f-4eejfg-phantom-by-zoukei-mura-in-design/ Cheers! 🙂
  2. Yes, probably I can. But after a short (15-20 minutes) sessions it’s doesn’t appeared. Also, the trigger on my double-action airbrush is pressed when the compressor is on, because a compressor hasn’t an automatic switch-off feature. I think it’s depends on humidity. Anyway, I don’t say that have a moisture trap is the bad idea, so I can consider buying it. Thanks guys! 🤝
  3. I use an Iwata Ninja Jet (the simplest compressor) that’s works at 1-15 psi - the pressure regulator stays in middle position and an airflow is well and suitable for all my needs. The compressors without an air storage tanks don’t needs the moisture trap at all. Cheers! 🙂
  4. Hello Ricardo, this picture may help you: I think you can use a Mr.HOBBY H325, maybe a H315 - I can’t recommend you a more suitable color at this time. The wheel wells are Silver. Silver, too. For some photos go here: https://aviaforum.ru/threads/tu-128-fotoalbom.23025/ Cheers! P.S. Here you can find some additional information, mostly the monochrome photos: http://forums.airforce.ru/matchast/4961-reestr-tu-128-a/
  5. Idea! It’s enough to have a recessed «panel lines» inside the canopy that needs only to be filled with a wash or with a slightly diluted paint. Cheers! 😎
  6. This was my first experience, I thought about the clear coat after the decal was applied (actually, I forgot about it 😕)... Is the gloss varnish is OK or an original «Future» needed?
  7. Looks great Dave! Any plans to do an antennas? Unfortunately, an overseas shipping prices can be unacceptable. Cheers! 🙃
  8. Eh, sorry Tony - it’s an advertisement picture from an Eduard’s website 😬 I can’t put my hands on the «B» yet... Same here, but I skip the belts set because I have a resin seat sets from the True Details. Yes, I’m totally agree. I saw that masterpiece, but an absence of the proper IP shroud is a deal-breaker for me. Who knows, who knows Tony... But I think it’s not so problematic to scratch-build it. Cheers! 😎
  9. I think it’s will be a PITA to attach the resin parts there, so I’ll recommend just to cut it along with a splitter plate, as I did it before. Anyway, the new KH kits (RF-101C) has an additional parts to make a «proper» intake lips. I don’t know how it works - maybe a good decision... Cheers! 😎
  10. Yes, the traditional decaling looks not so good: It’s a good idea Les, maybe a some manufacturers will offer their solutions soon... Sure William, and some days ago I thought that I will done it for my future Voodoo builds with a careful masking and a gentle airbrushing. It’s a very interesting thread here, thanks guys! 🤝
  11. Maybe that’s because an F-101 A/C kit was not so popular? For me, to have an Eduard’s parts is more than enough to build these great Voodoos. Cheers! 😎
  12. It’s not so time-consumptive, believe me Ben! And all will be faster if you have a «hinge» scribing template (actually, it’s needed for a nose IFR probe bay doors, too). That’s a lot of work, I think... Thanks Cameron! Yes, that’s very notable on the photo! I don’t ever seen these «dotted» airframes on a real photos - thanks again! I think it would be not so hard to paint it by myself. Anyway, can you suggest some good (not a fictional) decals for an RF-101Cs? Thanks for sharing, the quality of the photo is outstanding!
  13. If someone still interested in the simple and fast solution, this is one from an Eduard: Cheers! 😎
  14. Hello Ben! Thanks for the reply 🤝 You haven’t bought this kit, yet?! Yes, I hope it will look great, but I like the Kitty Hawk’s solution a lot. Oh, I haven’t noticed the opening mechanism on a photo - thanks! These panels are already on a belly. Looks I can do it from a spare PE parts (or search for a suitable solution), if no - there’s no problem, right? Yes, someone’s explained it on a forums... I think it’s for some electronic (or cameras) equipment. Thanks, I’ll check them in the store - I sawed it’s
  15. @Ben Brown, Ben, an Eduard makes a PE kit for an RF-101C with an IP looks like this: Not a bad improvement, but for me it will be great to have a good kit parts: With this aftermarket I can build a late Vietnam RF-101C in a SEA color scheme... Did I need to do these openings: or I will need these vents: And the last question: is these decals are suitable for the late Vietnam bird (these dots looks cool, I want to use a bottom tail fin tip decals): There is a lot of belly panels differen
  16. She looks superb, Giovanni! 👍 Looks like a mop 🤔😂 Cheers! 🙂
  17. As for me, the kit exhaust part are excellent (except the vague instructions tips for bend a PE part), the three-pieces covers fits amazingly well. Cheers! 😎
  18. Great price! Now it's in Russia. It's about $77 or so...
  19. It’s not in a hobby shops here in Russia, too. Only a pre-order.
  20. Hello Kurt, have you received your kit?
  21. With this feature, this kit is not so suitable for a beginners... With regards to this mounding solution, I’m always wondering why not to do some slides or a small locating pins to make the connections glue-less? Cheers! 😎
  22. The bird looks fantastic, @82Whitey51! Cheers! 😎
  23. Hello Brad, I just recommend you to find a good priced item that suits you and look at the seller’s feedback (search what people said about the packaging, and an overall positive feedback percentage). If the feedback is great (not less than 99.5-99.8%), I think it’s safe for a deal. An ICM MiG-25 boxes is strong, so I think it will be OK. Cheers! 🙃
  24. Get it! You’re already waiting for so long... A bit of patience with research and you’ll be rewarded with this beautiful Bird. The threads mentioned above are nailed all the major issues of this kit, and the community will help you with your questions 🙂 Cheers! 😎
  25. I can’t resist and can’t wait guys, so I got mine from eBay for $50 + $16.50 for the shipping - not a bargain price like with my other Voodoo kits (got them about a $35-40 with free shipping) - but I’m always looking at the seller’s rating, because I don’t want to receive the damaged box full of unusable plastic 😑 Thanks!
