  1. In 1/48th scale, I might be working on that. In 1/35th scale we showed them the error of their ways so they should fix that. Floyd
  2. No real difference. The only difference between the D and H are an upgraded engine. The pitot tube was in the nose of the D model and the H model was in the roof, however, many D models were upgraded to H models without changing the pitot tubes. Floyd
  3. Yes on the decals. Maybe on the resin, if it’s needed. Hopefully it won’t be needed. We’ve provided plenty of upgrades to add to the 1/35th scale kit. Floyd
  4. Just as soon as Kitty Hawk releases the 1/35th scale kit I will do a 1/35th scale decal sheet. I have to budget a run of decals as they are quite expensive to print. Floyd
  5. The issue with the UH-1N is that the Marine and Air Force versions are vastly different. On top of that, the Marine N was vastly different from Desert Storm until it’s retirement so deciding what era to depict was an issue. I did have some input but not as much as usual. I was really busy. I based my findings on a Marine UH-1N from just after Desert Storm. The kit may have the later sensors as well. Again I only have a little input when it comes to that. I did not have any input into the decal selection. Werner’s Wings will do a sheet because I owe it to Patrick Namanski t
  6. Thanks. If It’s good I’ll use whatever we come up with. CAD is better but old fashioned scratch built is okay Floyd
  7. I want to release both a Vietnam and a modern Medevac set but the truth of the matter is I'm just one man and right now I don't have time. If you do it, maybe I could cast it. I really wanted to do a later hoist as well. I have some people working on other Huey items. Floyd
  8. Yes it does, but I ordered two of the FAST Rope attachments. Floyd
  9. Just ordered my $135 worth of figures and Fast Rope Floyd
  10. I've had these photos for a while and could not release them. Guess it doesn't matter now. Yes these 530s were from another unit, NOT Task Force 160th. I won't elaborate on that anymore. The OH-58D is also NOT Task Force 160th. They are the unarmed variant. I have the unit designation somewhere. Now you know where the videos of the crashing Super 61 came from. The 530 filmed it. There job was observation and intelligence gathering. Floyd
  11. We are always looking for new photos, but what I want at Werner's Wings is to verify tail numbers and crews if he can remember them Floyd
  12. If you know someone that can scan 1/35th scale parts I'd shrink them down to 1/48th scale. Floyd
  13. I (Werner's Wings) want to do a sheet for the Apache but that is down on the list slightly. So if you have any photos that you'd like to share, email me at fwernerjr@comcast.net Thanks Floyd
  14. You are very welcome. The aircraft in the film had some mods that they didn't have in Somalia. Like the CMWS sensors on the nose and tail, but they were flown by some of the actual guys there in aircraft that were there as well. Floyd
  15. Why remove the plate on top of the tail? Maybe the ones on the side. The one on the top is there on the J model. The best I can tell they are all on the J model. Floyd
  16. I don’t think I thinned mine at all and did multiple passes. Floyd
  17. Thank you for the kind words. I'm not up to your level but I try Floyd
