  1. Damn now Im gonna be broke again! Glad to hear thanks for the update. Paul
  2. Thanks Andy, Last I heard Chris over at Cobra Co is taking a hiatus. I hope for a speedy return as he makes a few other things that I am in need of. The Blackhawk in this article was moved successfully ( mostly ) in the front seat of my jeep from Colorado to the Oregon Coast and I am soon to return to it and finish it up!. I will post pics soon I hope but I started a couple projects that are kind of detracting me from the final details of the MH-60L. Paul
  3. Here are a couple of links for you, you can find shots of the ramp in the "photographs" section. The Smaller of the two ramp doors retracts into the larger door, then vehicle/cargo ramps can be added once its lowered for unloading a vehicle. If the chinook is equipped with HICHS, they have a roller system to expedite pallets etc out the back. Hope you find this useful. 4. 160th SOAR carrys 4000 rds left and right and they are contained in 4000 Rd Amo Cans and fed by Flex Chute(and drive motors) to each gun. The whole thing fits between the gunner and crew chiefs seats. (barely). I wanted to add that many factors play into how many rounds are actually carried on a given mission.. they arnt light. HTH Paul
  5. I bet the SATCOM antenna is so the crew can watch CNN and Cinimax while jamming cellphones and power grids LOL Just kidding Karl It looks really cool..gonna be weird not having 4 guys on the jet..maybe they can carry them in Converted Fuel tanks? Just for fly ins and airshows and stuff... Paul
  6. Very Nice panel details and overall weathering! Nice to see some Guard Jets! Paul
  7. Not to mention the fact that Tom Sellic (Sp) has his FINGER on the TRIGGER or dangerously close to it and is about to put TC's helo into the shop for some UZI induced Perspex repair. What a dork. Paul
  8. Thirteen people were killed Saturday when a U.S. forces helicopter went down northeast of Baghdad, the U.S. military said. All the victims were on board the aircraft. The victims were described as passengers and crew members. Their identities were "being withheld pending notification of next of kin," the military said in a statement. It was not disclosed exactly where the craft went down, and the cause of the incident was not known. "Emergency coalition forces responded and secured the scene," the military said in the statement. Please if you want , take a minute and say a small prayer fo
  9. The Jayhawk (72nd)resin comes with the 72nd decals Paul
  10. The BEST SH-60's Seahawks in 48th are Cobras two kits. http://www.cobracompany.com/seahawks.htm The other option in 48th is the Italeri kit and Eduard P etc Sets for it. I cant speak for the 72nd kits from having built them ( I dont work on anything smaller then 48th on purpose), but I'd be willing to bet the Hasegawa kits are the way to go in 72nd. Paul
  11. Hi Brad, Eduard Set 48-412 is the exterior Detail set and has the hinge detail for the tail folding hinges, however neither set has the internal detail of the folded tail boom. On the bright side, you get all kinds of tiny little details that should really enhance the outter appearance of the Sea King series of helo's. http://www.eduard.cz/products/pdf/n48/48412_3.pdf Hope this helps, Paul
