I keep going back and forth on this. It's tempting. Very, very tempting, in fact. On the plus side; it's a subject near and dear to my heart and I've got a wide assortment of kits already in the stash to choose from:

1/48 F-4J VMFA-333

1/48 A-6E VMFA(AW)-121

1/48 CH-53E

1/48 CH-46

1/35 AH-1T (really more of a W, right?)

1/35 UH-1N

On the negative side of the ledger; I'm terrible about deadlines and joining group builds and not finishing, or even worse, not even getting started.

What's a jarhead to do?

Heckwithit. I'm in. I'll build up my A-6.

Now I've really got to get the AV-22 done and off the bench...

A late entry if nobody minds!

I'd like to jump in and share my attempt at one of the Hasegawa A-4M Hawks in 1/48. Seeing some amazing ones here has inspired me to pick one of these up and have a go.

I have an Eduard PE set to spruce it, plan to add some wiring etc. I haven't decided on markings yet. I picked up a great lo-viz sheet from Two Bobs at the Nats but am kinda leaning towards a hi-viz scheme. Time will tell.

Should be able to finish in more than enough time I hope.

I'm in with a Hobbycraft A-4M

HC1435.jpg

It's boxed as a Navy aggressor A-4F, but Hobbycraft leaves the parts for all their variants on the sprues in the kit.

I am building completely OOB with aftermarket decals. I am thinking VMA-311 or maybe the Blacksheep of the 214th
