jrallman
It is official folks. The PACAIR 2 GB has been approved and is on the calendar for April 1, 2008 through September 30, 2008. Thanks to the Reich Raiders guys for volunteering to move that GB back one slot to October 1, 2008 through March 31, 2009. Your mods for PACAIR 2 will be me, Dave (moeggo) and John (johnsan). After alot of good discussion on the topic, we have decided to make this GB a very open and inclusive GB that will include all aircraft involved in the Pacific theater during WWII. This includes pre-Pearl stuff too. This way, we can do more narrow Pacific based GBs in the years to come, like island hopping, the birth of carrier war, CBI, and so on. Its about time we had another Pacific build so here it is, dust off those boxes from the bottom of the stash and start ordering your aftermarket!

johnsan
Sounds like there is much interest in this one. Now the hard part will be deciding upon what to build. I suspect it will be something Japanese.

model_citizen
I am hoping to join this GB. It will be my first. I have a Betty (one-shot lighter), an AM midway Dauntless, and a tamiya Rufe with a true details cockpit that have been waiting for a reason to bust them out.
