HistnScale
Here is my interpretation of Macchi C.205, “22-2†of 2nd Squadriglia, 1st Gr.C., at Vicenza, Italy, July 1944. The kit is Hasegawa’s 1/48th scale Macchi 205 Veltro ‘ANR’ boxing. The aircraft specific decals are from the kit decal sheet and the national markings are from an old AeroMaster sheet. Paint is Poly Scale and AeroMaster applied with an Iwata airbrush. Weathering was done with artist oil washes and sepia drawing ink. Photos were taken with a Nikon Coolpix 4500. I would like to extend a special thanks to Mr. Ferdinando D’Amico for graciously taking the time to provide a unique insight into the painting and markings of this aircraft. Thanks for taking the time to look. Dave
