markm1245
First off Sorry about the image quality I have a P.O.S. camera. The kits are 1/48 Italeri OH-13 and Revellogram HueyHog. The Huey was one of the poorest fitting kits I've built in a long time. On the other hand the OH-13 went together with no real problems. Thanks for looking.

markm1245
Curt, Oliver Thanks The paint scheme was originally on a 212 in Canada doing firefighting work. Sorry, I don't recall the company. The Bell 47 was the first helicopter I flew in. N6776D. Edited November 21, 2009 by markm1245

BrittMac
Nice job Mark! I agree about the fit of the Huey kit. I would build more, but they drive me nuts! Your paintscheme adds quite a bit to it though. I think it looks great. Nice job on the model 47 as well. Brandon
HOLMES
Mark, LOVE them BOTH OH-13 ....VERY NICE !!! HUEY is BRILLIANT..love the colors on both...
hooknladderno1
Mark, Really nice work. I too, especially like the paint job on the Huey. It is nice to see something other than the standard olive drab(sorry guys- no offense intended). Nice job on the 47 as well. That must have taken some patience... rotorwash
One of the best uses I've seen yet for the old Huey Hog kit. Great paint job! The OH-13 is nice as well. Ray

markm1245
Everybody, Thanks for looking and the comments . I appreciate it. I did find the info on the original paint scheme. Elbow River Helicopters Bell 212 ( C-GTKE ). The helicopter crashed into the Fraser River between Lillooet and Lytton while fighting the Intlpam forest fire Aug. 14th.
Andrew Doppel
Mark, Those look great! Good to see them in anouther guise other than O/D. I used the same 1/48 Monogram Huey Hog kit for my RAAF Bushranger 'Ned Kelly' build featured further back in this forum and had no problems with the fit at all. There were some small issues requiring putty but overall a good fit. Can you recall what the issues were with your build? Regards Andrew :D
Retired GunPilot
Both models came out very nice. I like them both. Thanks for sharing. Charlie

markm1245
Andrew,Charlie & Gregg, Thanks Andrew, The fuselage halves where twisted and nothing fit quite right after joining the two. Your 'Ned Kelly' build turned out fantastic as well. Again, Everyone Thanks! markm1245
