Eli Raphael
Are the parts included (whatever they would be) to make one? I still have the Two Bobs decal. Thanks Edited March 7, 2014 by Eli Raphael
Captoveur
The C is a short nose. Academy has not yet made a long nose. I suspect if and when they do the E/F/G parts will all be in there. I would expect the J/S/N boxings to hit first though.
mingwin
i think he means the EF-4C, not the F-4G
Eli Raphael
Exactly. EF-4C
mingwin
that guy makes the EF-4C from the old monogram kit... maybe it's this article that inspired you?
Eli Raphael
Wow, that is a coincidence! That's what I want to do. Thanks
Finn
There is this info that may be help: http://phantomphacts.blogspot.ca/2013/10/usaf-f-4-wild-weasel-before-f-4g.html Jari
mingwin
i know it wasn't exactly what you where asking for in your original post... but though it could be helpful, as it's rather well explained. as for the academy f-4c, i don't have it in my hands yet. so i don't know if it has the appropriate pods ECM and Photo, but i'm pretty sure it didn't have the appropriate missiles (and pylon adapter)
Rex
don't forget that you need to check to see if the aircraft you are building had the slime lights or not I see them on the model in that link, and don't see them in Kim's Blog article drawings ZG-840 doesn't have them in the color pic in Spirit in the Skies the missiles, rails, and ECM pods are available in Hasegawa sets

Finn
Not to divert the thread but here is a F-4D with the antennas on the nose even though it wasn't a Wild Weasel: http://www.preservingourhistory.com/udorn010.jpg Jari
Jennings
Not uncommon among D's.

If you look closely at surviving D-model Phantoms towards the end of their career, you can see the plating installed when the RWR gear was removed.
DonSS3
This is the fairing on the F-4D nose. It was nicknamed the "Herpes" mod. Photo was taken in the early-mid 1980s.
