oppenheimerj
Hi everyone, here is my latest model, this one is the Tamiya P-51D kit in 1/32 scale with the resin kit from Resin 2 Detail, I loved this plane since i saw the picture in 1980, only one Prototype was built by the Cavalier Group, it have a Rolls Royce Dart turbo prop on board, it was modified from a P-51K as a COIN airplane hooping the USAF will buy it in 1969. To bad that the USAF never got any interest on this ugly duckling. Here is my recreation of the first and only prototype. Jorge

Silenoz
impressive aircraft and a unique subject... the nmf finish is stunningly good... has this been done with alclad? Found the topic of the initial conversion, how was the fit between the resin and the wings?
oppenheimerj
as you can see in this picture, the resin plug wont get to the wing, is just the hole nose section and the fitting to the fuselage is acceptable , just some cyano to fill the gap of the two pieces
